Atlantic Sleep and Rehab Centers, which opened in 2009 and operates facilities in Greensboro, Wilmington and Leland, North Carolina, selected Connect(x) Healthware to address a variety of business objectives, including increasing connectivity between facilities, improved cash flow, a reduction in billing cycles and of course anytime, anywhere access to medical information and images.

The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that EHR technology is capable of meeting the 2011/2012 criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Since its introduction in 2009, Connect(x) Healthware’s Chart(x) web-based EHR is a complete product—with medical imaging capabilities (PACS), medical billing functions, as well as a host of staffing management and QA tools.

In March of this year, Connect(x) Healthware’s Chart (x) 3.0 HER received ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
